OK. So, you may have followed some of my previous posts regarding the administration’s new “budget info” page. Originally, the page had a link to a FAQ page. However, once I posted the link to the FAQ page on the XChange, that page was taken down. I’ll give University Relations the credit here…There was nothing on the page except the statement “content coming soon.” It was kind of silly to post a FAQ page without any frequently asked questions.
In it’s place, there is now a link that says “E-mail Your Questions“. If you click on that link, you will be able to send an email to budgetinfo@kutztown.edu with your questions concerning the budget crisis and the administration’s plans to cut programs, faculty, staff, and services. I think we should take them up on their offer.
So here’s what I am proposing. Send your questions to budgetinfo@kutztown.edu. Given the number of questions that are out there, I am sure we can give them some work to do. And, I don’t think you have to be a KU student, faculty, or staff person to ask questions. Anyone who has a stake in cuts in higher education at other PASSHE universities or around the country may have good questions to ask.
So, get to it folks…ask your questions. AND…it might not be a bad idea to post your questions as comments to this post just so we can follow up and get answers to questions the administration may be a little slow on making public. Email away!
